Rich Connolly Folk Art

made in the USA

Our store is proud to feature one of America’s leading Holiday Folk Artists Rich Connolly. His hand made chalk ware collectables are made by using antique German chocolate molds, many dating back to the turn of the century (1890 - 1940). These pieces are completely made by hand using no commercial means. Each piece is carefully hand painted using vintage colors and then antiqued to give each piece a historic look. No piece is exactly the same, and the stress marks and worn look are done purposely to bring back a vintage charm of times gone by. These are new pieces and have never been displayed or purchased. They come directly from Rich Connolly’s workshop. Each piece is signed and dated by Rich Connolly including the circa of the mold when known. These are truly the antiques of tomorrow and are sure to please you or a special someone with a unique art form that is rarely seen.

Rich Connolly remains one of the last Holiday Collectible makers left in America. Rich’s work was been part of the 1988 White House Christmas display of Ronald and Nancy Regan. His most famous client for 15 years was Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who purchased his work until her passing in 1994.
